Course Description
This is a general immunology course designed for second year medical students are going to cover basic concepts of our immune system which is going to include immunology terminology concepts, defenitions, anatomy and histology of the immune system, cells and organs of our immune system, phsiology of cells and organs of the immune system, cytokines involved in the immune mechanisms, will include serology concepts that are going to be used to diagnose infectious diseases and other autoimmune diseases as well as malignancies, hypersensitivity, and immune deficiency disease. This course is going to be covered on campus as well as online (combined system), three hours per week, and will have two midterm exams that are going to cover 50% of the total grade, and the final exam that will cover the remaining 50%.
