This two-week clinical ENT rotation introduces fifth-year medical students to the principles, practice, and common clinical presentations of Otolaryngology. Students gain hands-on experience in ENT outpatient clinics, develop skills in focused ENT history taking, perform essential examinations including otoscopy and nasal examination, and learn to recognize common and urgent ENT conditions.
The rotation aims to strengthen students? ability to interpret clinical findings, formulate differential diagnoses, and understand when referral to specialized care is required. Students actively participate in outpatient clinics, morning reports, bedside teaching, and seminar presentations under the supervision of ENT consultants.
Final examinations are conducted every two weeks for each rotation group, or every four weeks when groups are combined.
