It is a two-hour clinical course in orthopedic physical therapy. In inpatient and outpatient setting at the hospital, the students will be able to practice orthopedic physical therapy skills including examination, evaluation, intervention, reassessment, communication, and professional clinical practice. The students will be supervised by licensed physical therapists to ensure safe, ethical, and legal practice. This course will build on what students have learnt in preclinical courses and other clinical observations. The learning methods will include self-directed learning, clinical application, reflection, case presentation, physical therapy documentation, assignments, and practical and theoretical examination.
