This course aims to teach occupational therapy for children. Specifically, students will apply occupational therapy evaluation in determining children's occupational performance challenges, and plan therapeutic goals and interventions that match children's challenges. The course will cover different occupational performance areas like self-care, play and learning. Also, this course will discuss occupational performance challenges for a wide variety of pediatric conditions like cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorders.
