This course is designed to cover major aspects of neonatal and pediatric respiratory care such as fetal lung development circulation, and cardiopulmonary transition at birth. NRP and PALS, and N &P assessment, respiratory care procedures, common respiratory diseases in neonates, pediatrics, and their proper management. This course also focuses on introducing the student to how to deal with newborns and children. Emphasis is placed on artificial respirators for this category, as well as chest physical therapy procedures, blood gases, and medical conditions related to them.
