This course provides students with a profound understanding of the etiology, risk factors, pathophysiology, clinical assessment and diagnostic procedures, treatment modalities, current research, and emerging therapies for a spectrum of disorders affecting the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Discuss some diseases of the nervous system that affect breathing and conditions related to direct and indirect effects on the respiratory system.
