Course Information
Line Number 1257040
Course Name Nano704 - Multiscale And Multiphysics Modeling
Course Description
Various computational methods are covered in this course that are helpful for multiscale and multiphysics analyses. These include molecular dynamics, cellular automata, the lattice Boltzmann method, the finite element method, and their coupling techniques. Examples for multiscale analysis are provided, including those for composite materials, metallic materials, and biomaterials. For multiphysics analysis, the course also offers examples. These include blood vessel aneurysms, electromechanical rail guns, and fluidstructure analysis of composite structures.
