This course explores the principles and practices of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) with a focus on the unique challenges of arid and semi-arid climates. It aims to equip students with interdisciplinary knowledge and practical tools to plan, implement, and evaluate IWRM strategies. Drawing on international case studies from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Australia, and the Americas. The course examines how governance, climate change, technology, culture, and economics intersect in managing scarce water resources.
