This course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of:
1. Drugs classifications, categories, and mechanism of action. Implications of use, drug interactions, adverse reactions; dosage computations and measurements. Adult, pediatric and geriatric medication considerations are also covered.
2. Intravenous therapy and clinical experiences in the administration of intravenous therapy as well as other drug administration routes and drugs employed by the Advanced Care Paramedics.
