This course aims to provide the students of the faculty of Applied Medical Sciences with the fundamental Knowledge of human pathology. In the first part of this course, general pathological concepts will be illustrated including cellular responses to stress and injury, inflammation, repair, neoplasia, and hemodynamics. The second part of this course provides the students with the basic knowledge of systemic pathology. In this part, the students will be introduced to the etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical features of a wide variety of diseases that affect different systems of the human body including blood vessels, heart, lungs, G.I. tract, and other systems.
