This course discusses the general fundamentals and principles of clinical bio-analytical chemistry. It is a combined lectures and laboratory course covering methods of analysis, as well as the biochemical components of body fluids. Topics include assessment of liver, cardiac, bone, and renal, trace elements, vitamins, and tumor markers. The course includes case studies and special topics in clinical chemistry, such as therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology.
