Course Description
Introduces a broad coverage to the latest concepts of decision support systems (DSS), demonstrates and overviews the technology needed for using such systems, an introduction into application of Artificial Intelligence techniques in business, discuss different types of systems such as Decision Support Systems and their variations as well as Expert Systems and explains their value-added contributions to the work of organizations, the coverage will extend to include major characteristics of KBSs, up-to-date guide to today's revolutionary management support system technologies, and showcases how they can be used for better decision-making. Moreover, the course focuses on Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics for enterprise decision support in a more streamlined manner. In addition to traditional decision support applications, this course expands the students understanding of the various types of analytics by discussing examples, products, services, and case studies.
