This is an introductory course to extended reality and extended reality development. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to understand the fundamentals of development of virtual reality worlds, including mathematical basis of motion and physics in virtual reality worlds, human visual perception, design practices to enable immersive experiences for users, and development on heterogeneous device hardware.
The course introduces students to the basic concepts of AR/VR Technology and the principle of game design. The course provides the students with basic skills and qualify them to develop simple (VR, AR, MR) using the design practices discussed during the course.
