This course introduces different applications of AI in the healthcare domain with a focus on medical data analytics. It equips students with domain-specific knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in biomedical and healthcare fields; to enable them to design ML/DL and AI solutions for specific challenges in these areas while effectively justifying their approaches; and to develop their ability to collaborate as effective team members in interdisciplinary project groups within biomedical and clinical sciences. The course will bridge the gap between computer scientists and the domain-specific medical experts and help students gain more knowledge in this domain.
