In the third year, residents are expected to achieve higher autonomy in clinical decision-making, managing complex inpatient and outpatient neurological disorders. PGY-3 focuses on developing expertise in advanced neurophysiology, ICU neurology, emergency care, and leading junior residents. Residents deepen their understanding of EEG and EMG, participate in teaching activities, and adopt holistic patient care approaches.
