Course Description
The course will begin by establishing a solid foundation in game design principles and the history of game design and ludology. Students will learn how to conceptualize game ideas, create compelling gameplay, design captivating levels, and implement well-balanced gameplay, in addition to manage the data and database applications during the development. Subsequently, students will transition into collaborative teamwork, where they will prototype games based on their acquired knowledge of game design. The course will cover various topics including game design principles, understanding player experience, game conceptualization and ideation, game prototyping and iteration, and which operating systems are used when publishing the game and how to organize settings and packages to suit the target operating system.
