Course Name ARCH204 - : Computer-Aided Design Ii: Advanced Digital & Ai Applications
Course Description
This course systematically applies computer-aided and computational design across architectural design, emphasizing advanced 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization. Students integrate parametric and data-driven workflows on Autodesk and Grasshopper to interrogate complex geometries, materials, and spatial relations. Emerging AI methods support the pipeline, from concept ideation (image-to-image mass exploration) to rendering and post-production (AI-based lighting, texture, and quality enhancement). Students develop robust proficiency in computational modeling and multimedia presentation while critically understanding the interplay of human creativity, parametric logic, and intelligent tools.
