The course presents an overview of the various laws and regulations most pertinent to the planning practice and the limitations on local agencies. Also, an account of local administration and organizations and the powers and responsibilities they have in the planning process is introduced. The course, in addition, examines other urban planning laws and regulations from other experiences.
