Course Information
Line Number 2623620
Course Name UAV362 - Uav Propulsion Systems
Course Description
This course provides a detailed study of the propulsion systems used in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Students will learn the principles of propulsion, including the design, selection, and integration of engines, motors, propellers, and thrusters in UAVs. The course covers the thermodynamics, aerodynamics, and performance characteristics of different propulsion technologies, such as electric, internal combustion, and hybrid systems. Topics include thrust generation, fuel efficiency, system optimization, and noise reduction. Students will also examine power management and the integration of propulsion systems with UAV flight control and power distribution systems.
