This course enables the students to select any topic related to a theme determined per semester. For example, this semester special topics are including the controlled substances, their pathology, the pharmacokinetics of abused drugs including doping agents, the pharmacodynamics, work place testing, and specimen selection, collection, and preservation. The course also enables students to select topics that provide them with knowledge of practical applications of pharmacy in the Food and Drug administration, especially the regulatory aspects of chemicals used in food and drug industry such as doping agents.
