This research methodology course aims to help students develop their knowledge of research and problem solving skills needed to conduct scientific research and to report results of that research to the scientific community. The course focuses on research methodology, regulation and ethics pertaining to human and animals. Types of scientific reports, information resources and research ethics are also covered. Students will also learn how to write a proposal, and will practice writing and defending one. Instructional strategies: Lecture / discussion, audiovisual aids, group discussion, student seminars.
