The course focuses on the degradation problems that are encountered with pharmaceutical products in solution and in solid state like hydrolysis, oxidation, and photodegradation. It covers the kinetics of degradation, factors affecting degradation (temperature, medium, catalysis, pH), shelf-life determination, and stabilization of these products. Additionally, it covers stability testing and the related regulations.
