This is a 3-unit online course. This course will present basic epidemiologic study designs, measures of morbidity and risk, and control of research biases and specific epidemiology disciplines. These concepts will be illustrated with various examples of epidemiologic research through videos and supported by online discussions and assignments. A focus on ethical concepts and challenges associated with research methods and design will be included through the material of the course.
