This course discusses basic principles of pharmacology and drug actions. Pharmacodynamic principles are discussed in details. The course also provides a comprehensive pharmacological approach for drug therapies acting on autonomic nervous system and central nervous system (CNS). The course provides in depth explanation for the molecular mechanism of action of drug groups and individual compounds within each drug class. In addition, the scope of the course extends to include kinetic profile, adverse drug effects, and therapeutic indications for drug therapies covered within this course.
