This 4-credit-hour course offers four weeks of hands-on training in the clinical nutritional support department. Students participate in clinical rounds, monitor and discuss daily patient cases, and perform detailed pharmacotherapeutic evaluations and hospital in-services. The rotation aims to strengthen practical clinical skills and elevate the role of clinical pharmacists in hospital patient.
