This course will provide the students with an opportunity to develop management and leadership skills. This practicum experience is designed to integrate theory into the reality context of the manager?s role. Opportunities will be provided to integrate knowledge, skills, and abilities learned throughout the theory courses into nursing practice. It focuses on the application of leadership and management theories as well as skills in managerial settings. The practicum will take place at low and mid-managerial nursing levels in a healthcare organization.
