This is an undergraduate continuous course which has a theoretical and clinical component (with an overall four credit hours for both semesters: 2 theory and 2 practical), the theoretical component is in the form of lectures that cover basic topics in pediatric dentistry and are of one hour duration (once weekly). The clinical component is in the form of clinical training (one 3-hour session every fortnight).
The course is designed to provide guidance to begin delivery of competent oral health care for healthy children. Students are expected to learn current techniques and principles based on most recent scientific literature. Teaching will be conducted in English.
