This is an undergraduate course which has theoretical and clinical components (with four credit hours), the theoretical component is in the form of about 14 lectures that cover basic topics in oral surgery and the medical problems that might interfere with the patient`s treatment and management. The clinical component is in the form of clinical training (one 3-hour session every other week).
The course is designed to provide guidance to begin delivery of simple oral surgical treatment such as simple teeth extractions and discussion of medical issues. Teaching will be conducted in English.
