This is a theoretical 1-hour course designed to provide postgraduate students with a detailed knowledge of medical conditions encountered in pediatric dentistry. It includes medical aspects, dental aspects, and management of special needs patients in such way that both hospital dentistry and treatment of medically compromised patients can be performed at a high competency. It will also highlight the management of developmental anomalies including CLP, and craniofacial abnormalities, in addition to aspects related to cross infection control and hospital dentistry for pediatric dental patients will be covered in this course.
