Welcome to our master program in Periodontics. In clinics, this year you?ll be starting to assess and manage patients from a periodontal point of view. This year is an introduction and will gradually increase your competence in the basic periodontal procedures and more importantly in examining patients, reaching a diagnosis, formulating treatment plans and deciding on the general and specific prognosis of teeth. During this year you?ll be reviewing your patients and preparing their phase two and maintenance plans. By the end of this year, you will also be performing some basic surgical procedures such as open flap debridement, frenectomies and crown lengthening procedures.
