This is a 3-credit hour, university elective course designed for non-agriculture students. The course covers the following topics: plant groups used in the garden (narrow- and broad-leaf trees and shrubs, vines, and groundcovers); landscape planning, installation, and maintenance; flower gardening; lawn establishment and maintenance; vegetable gardening; growing tree fruits.
