This course introduces 4th-year veterinary students to key principles of veterinary surgery, including asepsis, instrument care, and animal preparation. Students will learn basic surgical techniques, common surgical approaches, suturing methods, and post-surgical care and recognizing and managing post-surgical complications, with a focus on animal rights and professional conduct.
