This course aims to introduce students to the fundamental knowledge of control system theories and applications. Topics include mathematical modeling and state variables models, feedback control system characteristics and performance, stability of linear feedback systems, design steps of PID controller, and control design using the root-locus method, frequency response methods, stability in the frequency domain, and design of feedback control systems.
