This course provides an introduction to digital electronics and electronic instrument systems used in modern aircraft. It covers number systems including binary, octal, and hexadecimal, as well as Boolean algebra and logic gate operations. Students study combinational and sequential logic circuits, data processing, and digital communication concepts relevant to avionics systems. The course also introduces electronic instrument systems and their integration within aircraft platforms. Practical exposure is incorporated through the implementation and testing of logic circuits and the basic diagnosis of avionics- related systems, ensuring alignment with EASA Module 5 requirements.
