This course builds upon the foundational knowledge of aircraft materials and hardware, extending into advanced applications and maintenance considerations. Students explore specialized materials, bonding techniques, and the behaviour of materials under operational stresses such as temperature variation and cyclic loading. The course also addresses inspection procedures, defect detection, and repair practices for damaged components. Through practical applications, students gain experience in evaluating material condition, selecting appropriate hardware, and applying maintenance standards in alignment with EASA guidelines.
