The main purpose in this course is to make students aware of the major concepts and issues usually discussed in the fields of semantics and morphology. Students will be introduced to topics dealing with word structure and derivations in addition to the semantic terminology related to them such as 'root', 'stem', 'homonyms', 'compounds', etc. Students will be also given adequate activities and exercises in the aim of improving their use of vocabulary in both spoken and written language.
