Course Description
The course introduces the main concepts of neurolinguistics. It gives an overview of the main units of the human nervous system that underlie one?s language capacity, the role of frontal areas and subcortical area. It provides a distinction between human brain and the brain of some animals. It touches upon how children acquire their first language and how the stages of brain development parallel first language acquisition.
