This course is an introduction to sociology and to medical sociology will cover a range of general sociology concepts and its
subdisciplines. In addition, this course will focus on medical sociology concepts, main theories, and application. By the
end of this course the students will:
1- Comprehend the new prospective of medical sociology and the academic importance of social and cultural issues.
2- Identify the different schools of sociology; worldwide diversity of societies, the changes within them, and how illness
are seen in all perspectives.
3- Apply the basic concepts learned in order to appreciate the humanistic side of their extraneous disciplines 4- Exercise
in "practical globalism," how to use the Internet in Humanities research.
