Course Description
This course provides an introduction to linear algebra with emphasis on solving systems of linear equations using matrix methods. Topics include matrix operations, inverses, and Gaussian elimination, as well as determinants and their applications. The course also covers vector spaces, including Euclidean and general vector spaces, linear independence, basis, and dimension. In addition, students study linear transformations and conclude with an introduction to eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
